The Logic

Why I write:

I am a professional female with a long history of dating men who just didn't seem to get it...you know...the big "IT". The majority of my friends are men and the women I am friends with are much in the same boat as I am. So this blog is for anyone who is seeking how to "get it". So take these experiences, as they are experiences and not just guessing games, and use the information wisely and appropriately. There are too many mistakes in this life to be made; you can't make them all yourself, learn from others.

Why the title:

With professional women, we are goal setters and achievers. We are typically referred to as the Type A personality. We like to stay busy and we like to have girls nights out. We walk around very confident in ourselves, enjoying looking good and getting stared at because of it. We are sexual creatures that enjoy pleasing more than getting pleased. We will give you everything we have without question, but know we deserve the same in return. We know what we want out of life and out of our partner. We are confident, sexy, and men chase us. We enjoy the hunt as much as being hunted. We like to have full control of ourselves and the situations we put ourselves in. We make decisions all day long at work and walk around getting things done.

However, when we come home at the end of the day, we don't necessarily want to have to keep making decisions and "getting things done". Occasionally we need to drop the ball. But when the ball has been dropped, someone should be able to pick it up. Someone should know exactly how to pick it up and run with it. Then, when we are ready, we will gladly take the ball back. Occasionally, though, we want to willingly relinquish control of the ball, not just drop it accidentally. The million dollar question is, what do you do when we are standing there holding out our arms saying, "Here is my ball, please take it"?

Do you stare at it, do you turn and walk away, do you knock it out of our hands, or do you take it?
